Flying: 19-23 years
Technical: 18-28 years.

Courses Offered: AFCAT makes the women and boys to join the Indian Airforce in Flying, Technical or Ground Duty course. Whereas in CDS young boys can go for Flying branch and girls go for only OTA.
Exam Pattern: The exam pattern differs for the 2 exams during a batch . AFCAT exam comprises of four subjects objective paper which consists maths, general intelligence, General knowledge,and english subject which student has to attempt in 120 minutes which is quite sufficient. CDSE exam consists of three papers English, GA and arithmetic (optional for OTA candidates). In each paper students have to attempt 120 question in just 2 hours only.
