Today in this article we will discuss
about the difference between the syllabus of SSC CHSL and SSC CGL exam.
Every year SSC Staff selection commission conducts recruitment of candidates
for different posts in which these SSC CGL and SSC CHSL included. These
differences are prepared by SSC experts from Gurukul Career Group best SSC
CHSLCoaching in Chandigarh.
As you know each and every exam has
its own level and required different strategy to qualify it. In the similar way
SSC CHSL and SSC CGL both requires difference preparation to qualify an exam.
Some differences are given below:
Eligibility criteria: If we go with eligibility
criteria than SSC CGL candidates can appear for SSC CHSL but SSC CHSL
candidates can't apply for CGL as 12th pass out can give CHSL but not CGL.
Competition to be faced: Every year more
candidates apply for SSC CHSL exam compare to SSC CGL exam.
Exam Pattern: Master English and Maths,
and you'll ace CGL (600 out of 700 comprise of English and maths) but not in
CHSL where all 4 subjects i.e., reasoning, English, maths and GS
with current affairs play equal role
here.
Seat’s dilemma: In 2017, CGL had 8000+
seats and on contrary CHSL had just 3000+ seats only, but half. And this
pattern usually follows almost per annum.
Level of competition: Every CGL aspirant appear
for CHSL once in their preparation phase, they came to CHSL with higher level
of preparation than class 12th pass outs which enhances the extent of
competition and cut-offs also albeit paper was easy.
‘As a BACKUP': Every govt job
aspirant give this exam as a backup purpose and that they don't join. Bank
aspirant, Defence job aspirant, even UPSC aspirant give this exam, as thanks to
no workload scenario. This backup job mentality makes it tougher. But in CGL,
only serious aspirant appears for it because it may be a long journey brings
more commitment to the exam.
